This hidden gem of an urban wild is tucked carefully in the middle of a neighborhood in the New North End. Although it makes for a short hike, the rare ecosystem affords a contemplative walk over the sometimes dirt, sometimes wood plank trails. Venus Avenue, Red Maple Lane, and the corner of Sunset Drive and Meridian Street each have informal trailheads to this land of tall trees and fern filled bogs.
