Forest at Apple Tree Point • 3 acres

The Forest at Apple Tree Point is a newly preserved pocket forest in a neighborhood in the New North End. Foxes and other forest creatures’ tracks can be found crisscrossing the forest from the drier, upland side, to the boggy, fern filled basin. A small water retention pond serves as an oasis for flora and fauna on the southern end. Although there are no trails yet built in the forest, it can be accessed via street parking on Appletree Point Road.
